It’s the time again: The „Leuchtfeuer“ is lighted again for the 5th time. From August 17th to August 21th the light beacon will lead you again to the theatre tent, which is located close to the center of Visselhövede. Feel yourself recaptured and carried away by a mixture of varying performances. All events deal about the issues of movies. We are pleased to take you to an amusing, exciting and inspiring presentation under the dome of the theatre tent at our “Heimathaus”.

Dear citizens,
friends of culture and the cultural sector,

from August 17th it is time again and the 5th Kultursommer of Visselhövede is opened.

The "makers" are engaged with high pressure and prepare a great and varied program with many highlights. Lots of art, culture, music and theatre is back on the program. On one hand we are proud to be able to see well known artists during these days, on the other hand we have the chance to participate and bring us in ourselves.

I am particularly looking at the children's theater and the VisselTube-Competition.

I want to say Thank You to all who gave financial support, those who participate in diligence, enthusiasm and expertise to make the presentation of this program possible. I particular thank the team of Theater Metronom, the Kultur und Heimatverein and last but not least Eigenart Kulturverein for their commitment.

I am looking forward to attractive events with exciting guests, many happy faces and a merry mood.
See you at the Kultursummer.

Bürgermeister Ralf Goebel
